Historians have linked April Fools’ Day as the spring festival of fools

Although not a true national holiday, April Fools’ Day is celebrated in many countries every year. It is a famous day for playing pranks on partners, friends, families, colleagues and pretty much everyone. April 1st is seen as an opportunity to deceive the most gullible… into believing the most outlandish things.
The day simply consists of playing pranks and organizing hoaxes and lies ‘artfully’. At the end of each prank, pranksters shout ‘April Fool’s Day’ at their victim, and this custom has remained the same for hundreds of years.
Historians have linked April Fools’ Day as the spring festival of fools. The festivities included games, and people dressing up and teasing their neighbors. It was an opportunity for common people, in disguise, to imitate the nobility, making fun of them.
In Europe, more recently, April 1st celebrations involve sticking a paper fish on the backs of as many people as possible without being noticed and sending the ‘April Fools’ victim back and forth on annoying errands. and fruitless.
