Spain surpasses Georgia by 4-1 thanks to the networks of Rodri in 39th, Fabian Ruiz in 51st, Nico Williams in 75th and Dani Olmo in 83rd. Kvaratskhelia and his teammates had taken the lead in the 18th minute on an own goal by Le Normand.

The first half
In the ninth minute the first shot on goal: corner for Spain from the left, Le Normand heads it, Mamardashvili clears off the line, then Kashia struggles to clear.
On Georgia’s 18th counterattack, Mikautadze runs along the entire midfield line with the ball at his feet, changing sides from left to right, passes to Kakabadze who arrives at the height of the area and crosses it into the middle where Kvaratskhelia is, Le Normand anticipates it with his belly and scores an own goal: Georgia ahead.
In the 34th minute, Cucurella’s left-footed shot from outside the area, the ball comes out under the legs of a defender, arrives in front of Mamardashvili who blocks with both hands. Five minutes later, Nico Williams from inside the area serves Rodri who controls with his right and shoots with his left from the edgethe ball goes into the corner to the left of Mamardashvili. The referee waits for the VAR check and validates: it’s Spain’s equaliser.

The second half
On the 47th Georgian counterattack, Kvaratskhelia sees Unai Simón out of goal and shoots directly into the net from midfield, almost fooling him. Two minutes later, a free kick for Spain from inside the penalty area, Yamal takes it, Mamardashvili dives and parries it. On the developments, a cross from the right, again by Yamal, Fabian Ruiz’s header in front of the goalkeeper, ball in the net: Spain overturns the result.
In the 67th Tsitaishvili was served on the left, entered the area and shot, the ball out. Six minutes later Georgia’s own goal following an assist from Yamal, the referee disallowed it for offside.
To the 75th Nico Williams does it all himselfgets past a Georgia defender, enters the area from the left, unleashes a diagonal shot with his right foot and scores. In the 83rd minute Dani Olmo closes the games: he is served at the edge of the area, he shoots into the corner at the near post and pierces Mamardashvili. It is the goal of the final 4-1.
