One of the most emotional moments of my life. Accompanying Martina for a short distance towards the altar. In a second I saw her pass in front of me as a child, as a teenager and now as a woman, wife, career woman. Time flew by. When I returned to my place in the church I silently thanked because it was not a given that I was there…that so many of us were there….the groom’s great-grandmother was there too. 101 years old who would never have hoped for so much. It was all a privilege, a true grace. A new family was born! God and we were witnesses.
