Toyota completes its commercial range with the new Proace Max

ROME – Toyota opens orders for Proace Max, which expands and completes its range of commercial vehicles. The vehicle fits into the heavy duty van segment, which represents more than 30% of the LCV market, and brings with it important product innovations that will intensify Toyota’s strategy in the world of commercial vehicles. It will be offered in four different body types. Van: classic panel van with larger load volume than the Proace. In its most spacious version, the New Proace Max will reach up to 17m3 of maximum load volume; Chassis: chassis cab; Dropside: cab with fixed body; Tipper: cab with tipper body. The Proace Max in van version will be the largest volume model and will be available in three different lengths, three heights and two wheelbases. There will be two engines available, however: a 2.2 diesel with 3 powers (120 HP, 140 HP and 180 HP) and an electric one with a single 110 kWh battery. Loading and unloading operations are simple thanks to the full-height doors and the practical square opening, with a low threshold for easy access. For the first time on a vehicle from the Toyota Professional range, the doors open 270 degrees, maximizing loading performance up to 1,500kg of payload. The Proace Max Van line-up includes a single grade with three options of optional packages to meet the specific needs of customers: Tech Pack, Battery Pack and Conversion Pack. The Proace Max Chassis version is an incomplete vehicle, consisting of a simple chassis cab that offers maximum customization possibilities to best respond to the specific needs of customers and their work activities. The Proace Max with Dropside setup (made directly in the factory), cab with fixed body, available in L3 and L4 with two different body lengths, will be equipped with a strong steel frame and sides, which can be opened laterally and rearally, in light alloy of anodized aluminium. While the Proace Max with Tipper setup (made directly in the factory), with cab with one or three-way tipping body, will be available in a single length. In all versions of the Proace Max, as for the entire Toyota range, safety comes first with Toyota Safety Sense, to which is added Cross Wind Assist, which allows the vehicle to be stabilized in the event of strong winds, the Rear View Mirror Digital, which thanks to a high resolution camera allows you to always monitor what is behind the vehicle and, for vehicles with N2, MOIS and BSIS classification, a departure monitoring system and a blind spot monitoring system. Finally, two versions of Multimedia will be available on Proace Max: 5″ Touchscreen Display with monochrome instrument panel and 10″ Touchscreen Display with 7″ TFT color instrument panel. Can now be ordered from the official Toyota network with prices starting from 26,950 euros. – Photo: Toyota press office – ads/com 24-Jun-24 15:23
