Today’s Nintendo Direct ended with fireworks: Metroid Prime 4 Beyond was presented, the new chapter of the series developed by Retro Studios. Better to say that it has been re-presented, given that it has been in development for years.
As you can see, it also changed its title (before it was just Metroid Prime 4), but what really matters is that Some gameplay was shown, probably from the Super Nintendo Switch version, given the quality. Also it was the year of release has been revealed: 2025, which coincidentally is also that of the new console.
New generation coming?
In short, the suspicion is that it could be one of the launch titles of Nintendo’s next generation of gaming machineseven if we don’t know for sure.

As you may recall, Metroid Prime 4 was announced seven years ago, only to be restarted from scratch. At the beginning the project was entrusted to Bandai Namco, but then Nintendo settled things within Retro Studios, the Software House of the first three Metroid Primes, to which it entrusted the relaunch of the project, with the results that we have been able to see.
