OLED and 480Hz, the new Acer Predator monitors seem perfect for all gamers

During Computex 2024 Acer has revealed new ones Predator series monitors, introducing three models of high end dedicated to the most demanding gamers. It’s about Predator X27U F3, Predator X32 X3 and Predator which will arrive on the market in the third quarter with a price of 1199 euros for the 27 inches and 1399 euros for the 32 and 34 inches.

The Predator X27U F3 offers a panel 27 inch OLED with resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels and 480Hz refresh rate, presenting itself as one of the best solutions for gamers who do not want compromises in competitive titles. There is no lack of support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and the G-Sync compatibility for an artifact-free gaming experience with both AMD and NVIDIA cards.

The panel offers 99% DCI-P3 coverage and a maximum brightness of 450 nits, which reaches a peak of 1300 nits in HDR. In terms of connectivity the Predator X27U F3 delivers two HDMI 2.1, one Displayport 1.4 and one USB-C with 90W Power Delivery, as well as two USB-A 3.2 and a 3.5mm jack.

Predator X32 X3 offers a display 31.5 inch OLED with resolution 4K, refresh rate of 240Hz and response time of just 0.03ms GTG. The monitor offers two operating modes, which allow you to choose between 4K 240Hz, for high fluidity even at maximum resolution, and Full HD 480Hz, to have an edge in competitive games.

Also on this model we find 99% DCI-P3 coverage, support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatibility, two HDMI 2.1, one USB-C with PD 90W, one DisplayPort 1.4, three USB-A 3.2 and audio output. The maximum brightness is 450 nits, while in HDR it can reach 1000 nits.

If you want an even more immersive experience, Predator is equipped with a 34-inch curved OLED display, with 1800R curvature, UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels), refresh rate of 240Hz and 0.03 ms GTG response time. Typical brightness is 250 nits, while in HDR it reaches 1000 nits peak.

The other features are essentially the same as the other two models: 99% DCI-P3 coverage, two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB-C with 90 watt Power Delivery, audio output and two USB-A 3.2.

All three models then offer 10-bit color depth and certification DisplayHDR True Black 400, in addition to Acer BlueLightShield Pro, flickerless, low-dimming and ComfyView technologies, which help prevent eye strain during longer gaming sessions. Obviously there is no shortage of technologies for preventing burn-in, such as Display Saver, Constant Brightness, Image Retention Refresh and Screen Shifting.
