What you see in the images in this article could be the three members of the Google Pixel 9 family, made up of the standard Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Montenegrin blog exposed them in the last few hours Rozetked, which had already published photos of a Pixel 9 Pro prototype a few weeks ago. These are, as is easy to see, working versions. There isn’t much new to discover compared to what was already known, but they are, as you can imagine, very important confirmations.
As already seen in the past, on an aesthetic level the main novelty is a rather profoundly renewed design for the Camera Bar, which for the first time no longer extends across the entire width of the smartphone. The only one of the three non-Pro phones has a glossy back finish, while the other two are matte. Judging from the front photos, the Pixel 9 Pro will also have slightly thinner bezels than the Pixel 9. Then there are some shots compared to an iPhone, to be precise Pixel 9 Pro vs. iPhone15 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max; it seems that Pixel 9 and 9 Pro will have comparable dimensions, even if a little larger. Perhaps the Pixel 9 is slightly thinner, but the Camera Bar sticks out more.
It’s a little early to already see finished or at least definitive products: the Pixel 9 Series, for the first time in a three-piece formation (a compact Pro model is added: what was previously the Pro model becomes the Pro XL), It should arrive as expected around autumn, between September and October. We can only take note of the state of things and remain a little cautious, accepting that in 5-6 months from now there could still be some secondary changes, awaiting further developments.
Unfortunately, technical information remains fragmentary. The source confirms the exact diagonals of the displays, namely 6.24, 6.34 and 6.73″, and 16 GB of RAM for the Pro models; the latter, among other things, will also have the UWB connectivitywhile the standard Pixel 9 does not.
