In recent days the Arabic page PRE_Alarabiya talked about Resident Evil 9 with Leon Kennedy and mentioned the existence of a remake of the first Resident Evil coming in 2026a rumor that is now also taken up by insider DanielRPK.
DanielRPK effectively confirms what PRE_Alarabiya said, that is, the fact that Capcom is developing a remake of the first Resident Evil to be released in 2026 as part of the horror saga’s 30th anniversary celebrationsborn in 1996.

The first Resident Evil already had a remake released in 2002 on GameCube, six years after the original game’s launch.
