The Italian YouTube channel BeyondDreams presents us with a new high-level mod for one of the games of the moment: Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2. In a new video – which you can see just below – the Italian creative Massihancer shows us a comparison between the ‘vanilla’ version of the game and the modified one.

The modder explains that with a graphic preset of his own creation created through Reshade he improved the graphic quality of Hellblade 2 – which is already at a high level – by improving the global illumination through the Complete Ray Tracing functions. As always, everything was developed in direct collaboration with “NiceGuy”.

What is it for Complete Ray Tracing in Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2? The technology deals with significantly improving the details of shadows and lights in real time, specifically using a technology known as Restir GI. To achieve this result, the chromatic aberration functions and distortion effects have been disabled, so that the visual clarity would benefit.

Continuing, the depth of field was increased with Reshade and the colors were changed via Color Grading. The end result is that Hellblade 2 runs at maximum details in 8K with DLSS, obviously using a very respectable computer, which is equipped with an Intel 14700K CPU, a Corsair Vengeance 32 GB RAM and an Nvidia RTX 4090 ASUS TUF graphics card.

Hellblade 2, graphics and more

The vanilla version of Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 is still of a high standard

Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 certainly impressed audiences with its very high graphic quality, especially regarding the face of the protagonist. The rest of the game, however, from gameplay to story, attracted mixed opinions, although on average the press vote was positive and in line with that of the first chapter.

If you are still not sure whether to try the game, we can see the first 20 minutes of Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2.

Speaking instead of Beyond Dreams, it recently offered us a Ghost of Tsushima mod in 8K and 60 FPS.
