The Solo Leveling Arise video game connects to the events of Sung Jinwoo seen in the webtoon: in a world besieged by constant invasions of monsters, humanity’s last defense is represented by the “Hunters”, fighters trained to repel these creatures. After a failed hunt leaves him seriously injured, Jinwoo, an E-rank hunter – the lowest possible – discovers a way to level up and improve infinitely.

An action RPG focused on the series

In essence, the basic principle of role-playing games becomes the engine of this story, which sees the protagonist commit to becoming the greatest hunter of the world. The game follows the path in question, between narrative phases, exploration and combat.

In particular, in Solo Leveling Arise players can create their own fighting style, customizing skills, acquiring increasingly powerful weapons and more, as well as expanding the party to support the protagonist.

Along the way, accompanying Jinwoo we find other hunters from the series, each with unique abilities and suitable for various roles and situations. Jinwoo will also be able to summon his “shadow army”, connecting directly to what we saw in the webtoon.

On the occasion of the launch, Netmarble has also decided to reward players who launch into the game first with a series of rewards such as the chic black outfit for Jinwoo Sung, 100,000 Gold and 2 mana crystals for each attribute, a set of artifacts legendary and more.
