Mortal Kombat 1: Patriot from The Boys series is shown in action with a gameplay video

Warner Bros and NetherRealm have released a new video Of Mortal Kombat 1 focused on Patriotthe character taken from The Boys who arrives with one of the most anticipated cross-overs within the fighting game in question, showing himself with some short gameplay sequences.

We had already seen a short video previously, but in this case it is an official presentation trailer that shows the way in which the character presents himself at the beginning of the match and also some moves and fatalityobviously characterized by the most extreme violence, highlighted by the well-known sadism of Patriot (or Homelander, in the original version).

As we can see, however, the character is not voiced by Antony Starralthough the model is undoubtedly built on the features of the actor who plays him in the television adaptation on Prime Video.

The reproduction in the video game version is truly faithful to that seen in the TV series, and comes just in time to increase anticipation for Season 4 of The Boys, arriving this summer.

A disturbing character

Patriot charges lasers in Mortal Kombat 1

The Patriot seems equipped with the typical set of special skillsamong which the laser beams from the eyes stand out, apparently also used for a fatality, and a superhuman strength that can lead to devastating blows, also considering the violent context of Mortal Kombat 1.

There is also no shortage of known peculiarities of the character, such as his disturbing nature passion for milkwhich is also part of one of the fighter’s presentation skits before the fights.

The Partita will be included in Mortal Kombat 1 through a DLC arriving this spring but still without a precise release date, so we await further information from Warner Bros. shortly. Meanwhile, Season 5: Storms arrived in April.
