“Thanks to all the fans of Stellar Blade for your passion and feedback”, reads the message, “Stay tuned for updates”, the team then took leave, thus announcing interesting news for the game in question and perhaps also for the topic of the censored elements, although this is more of a guess.
Some sources close to the PlayStation environment, such as PSU, share this opinion, placing the tweet in question in direct connection with the controversy over the censorship, but this is a reconstruction that could be somewhat imaginative.
A message that has to do with censorship?
However, it is true that ShiftUp, since the issue emerged, has seemed rather open to making different decisionshaving reported that there is an “internal discussion” on the matter, after admitting that some content was indeed censored within the game.
The issue sparked several controversies also because, just a few days earlier, the team itself had reported that Stellar Blade would not have censorship, only to then admit some changes to the contents that occurred with the day one patch.
These are small things, but they were enough to raise a notable hornet’s nest in the gaming community, which the team seems to want to listen to, also given the success of the petition on the topic.
