In a recently published report, The Verge’s Tom Warren pointed out i exit periods which would currently be scheduled for some big games by Xbox Game Studiosas Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle, Avowed, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and other.
This is not official information, but considering the possible proximity of the source to issues relating to Microsoft, it is not to be underestimated, also because it appears quite plausible given the previous communications from the company, which indicated all these as upcoming titles during 2024.
These would, in fact, be the games scheduled within the conference Xbox Games Showcase announced for June 9th, during which they will evidently be presented in more detail, probably with release dates or at least more defined periods.
A really hot autumn for Xbox Game Studios
Speaking of these exit periods, the plan of the titles in question would be the following:
- Starfield: Shattered Space – September
- Call of Duty: Black Ops V – October
- Avowed – November
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – November
- Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle – December
The information corresponds more or less to periods that have already emerged previously or at least to a logical positioning of the releases, now almost halfway through the year, also indicating a truly final 2024 full of big releases for Microsoft.
The release period of Starfield: Shattered Space had already emerged previously and would therefore be positioned at the end of the summer or beginning of autumn, while the launch of the new call of Duty in October it would somewhat follow the traditions of the series, although this also happened in some cases in November.
Perhaps the intention is not to crowd the month in question too much, considering that it should see the arrival of both Avowed and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, two titles that should now be quite certain of launching during the year.
Perhaps some doubts can emerge about the actual release of Indiana Jones in December, considering that it is a strange month for a large-scale launch and that the game was presented relatively recently, but the 2024 release had already been announced in precedence.
