Descriptive text here

It had been going on for some time now Kerbal Space Program 2 appeared to be a stagnant project or, at least, less so supported than it would need. Now, with the news of the probable closure of Intercept Games, the development studio, many are wondering what will happen to it, considering that it is still in early access.

The last version published was v0.2.1.0, dating back to April 4th, very far from the final version in terms of quality. Consider that it is sold for around €50, despite still being in development. Many simply talk about a dead game and there are those who also wonder about the possibility of launching a class action. The series’ subreddit is literally in turmoil, with many threads on the topic, wondering about the future.

Will development continue?

Development will continue

The developers have made it known that work on the game is progressing and that they will talk when they can. Take-Two has officially declared that Kerbal Space Program 2 is safe, despite the layoffs. Which opens up two hypotheses: a complete change of the development team, or Private Divisionthe sub-label publishing the game, will support development externally, with the original team being re-established as an independent company.

Both hypotheses leave no room for optimism, considering that they will still have a strong impact on a project that is already extremely problematic due to the way it was managed by Take-Two, between the ouster of the authors of the first chapter, the problems of formation of the new team and a launch that to define as disastrous is almost an understatement.
