We’re almost there, on this holiday, Sony will announce the PlayStation Plus Essential games for May, which can be downloaded starting from Tuesday 7 May 2024 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The appointment is scheduled for Wednesday 1 May at 5.30 pm Italian time. An actually unusual date compared to the usual PlayStation Plus announcement lineup, which includes the reveal of the Essential games on the last Wednesday of the month. For calendar reasons, however, the announcement has been postponed to the first Wednesday of the current month, therefore we just need to wait a few more hours to discover the PS Plus Essential lineup for May 2024.
We remind you that today only the new Essential games will be revealed (also downloadable by Extra and Premium subscribers) while the announcement of the new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games will arrive on May 15th, with the latter then available for download on Sony consoles from Tuesday 21 May 2024.
At the time of writing there are no leaks or previews yet on the new PlayStation Plus Essential games for May but who knows, in the next few hours the “usual” leakers and insiders won’t be able to tell us something about it.
