MSI has revealed that the handheld MSI Claw recorded a significant increase in performanceup to 150% in the best scenarios, thanks to new BIOS and GPU drivers recently made available.

Specifically, let’s talk about BIOS E1T41IMS.106 and drivers 31.0.101.5445 which internal tests show have substantially improved player performance and experience with Steam’s 100 most popular titles.

To give some practical examples, MSI says that Claw now boasts performance increases of 150% with the horror 7 Day to Die and higher increases of at least 50% with Monster Hunter World and Cyberpunk 2077as we can see in the graph below.

For completeness of information, the graph tests above were performed in Performance Mode, 1080p resolution, graphics settings set to low, XeSS active in Performance mode where supported, which are also the settings recommended by MSI to make the most of Claw.

MSI Claw owners can download the latest Bios directly from the MSI website, at this address, while the new GPU drivers are available on the Intel ARC portal, at this link.

Furthermore, the company has communicated that starting from BIOS 106 it is possible update it directly from Windowswithout the need to use a USB flash drive or docking station.

MSI Claw is available at the price of 899 euros. The device features the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor and the graphics sector supported by Intel Arc, with full support for 120 Hz.
