Among the many protagonists of the ID@Xbox Showcase aired tonight there is also Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winterof which we saw a first gameplay trailer extended, after the presentation film presented last month.
Follow-up to the popular 2D action RPG by Odd Bug Studio (in this regard, here is our review), Tails of Iron 2 takes up the mechanics of its predecessor, immersing players in the context of a medieval dark-fantasy world populated by humanoid mice and offering intense, violent and on paper challenging fights, where it will be necessary to parry, dodge and attack enemies with spectacular combos to survive in battle.
Fierce warrior mice
The story follows the mouse warrior Arlo, the heir to the Warden of the Wastes, who aims to bring out the Dark Wings, an ancient and bloodthirsty evil. To do so he will have to embark on an adventure in the northern kingdoms of Random, dealing with monstrosities of various kinds and demanding challenges.
Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter is currently in development for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switchwith a release date still to be determined.
