NoI’m happy to have put the bank account of 80s and 90s motorbike enthusiasts into difficulty with the XSR 900 GPa modern motorcycle but whose livery is inspired by the fantastic ones YZR 500 GP two-strokeYamaha increases the dose and drops a pair of aces which – we imagine – will only leave the numerous aficionados of the Iwata company speechless.

SThey are in fact available on Y’S Gear by Yamaha two complete kits to give the XSR 900 GP a look very close to two iconic motorcycles. The first in graphics “Speedblock” white/red is dedicated to the four-cylinder two-stroke V-shaped, the first replica of the four-cylinder two-stroke GP, the RD 500 which in other markets was also known as RZ 500 (with the aluminum frame, rather than steel, moreover). The second is definitely inspired by the FZ-R series with one white/blue graphics which came to us with the FZ 400, the FZ 600 and the FZ-R 1000but also similar to the racing livery with which Eddie Lawson triumphed at Daytona in 1986 and which came to us slowly (the graphics with a gray base and those with a black base were more common for the first version of the FZ 750).
