It certainly hasn’t revolutionized the genre to which it belongs, but Hogwarts Legacy it equally managed to satisfy lovers of action RPGs and fantasy, as well as obviously all fans of the Wizarding World. The sequel is a given, but it could be a long time before we see it on the shelves: here are 5 games to while away the wait.
Immortals Fenyx Rising
Magic, exploration and puzzles are also at the center of Immortals Fenyx Rising, a mythological open world action RPG which in the opinion of the writer would have deserved much more attention from the general public. While not revolutionizing the genre to which it belongs (after all, not even Hogwarts Legacy did), it manages to excite thanks to a story full of irony and effective game mechanics, among which stand out Challenging environmental puzzles. Furthermore, in addition to hurling magic, it allows you to punch a wide variety of mythological creatures in the teeth with the most disparate weapons. You can find it on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.
Fable Anniversary
From Hogwarts to Albion is a moment. Fable Anniversary has everything you loved about Hogwarts Legacybeing an action RPG set in a fantasy world pervaded by magic, also equipped with a system of moral choices capable of adding further spice to the narrative.It has been around for several years, being a 2014 remaster based on a 2004 video game, but we assure you that it deserves to be (re)discovered by all lovers of the genre. You can play it on Xbox One and Series included in Game Pass. There’s no harm in trying, and it might make you want to rediscover Fable 2 and 3 too.
Forspoken
We can’t deny it, Forspoken failed to meet the expectations of the general public and turned out to be a huge commercial flop, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, on the contrary! 
Just as young wizards are transported to a magical world parallel to ours, so is the young homeless girl Frey Holland is thrown into an alter land called Athia. Here she will discover that she has magical powers and will join the fight against monstrous creatures and powerful entities known as Tantas. Dragon Age Inquisition
The role-playing mechanics certainly become more complex in Dragon Age Inquisition, but it is the price to pay for spell enthusiasts looking for a more in-depth magic system than that of Hogwarts Legacy.With three different classes of wizards to choose from (Knight Enchanter, Wizard of Slashes and Necromancer) and a myriad of skills and spells to unlock along the adventure, aspiring sorcerers will have something to enjoy. Playing Dragon Age Inquisition (voted game of the year at The Game Awards in 2014) is also an excellent idea while waiting for the sequel Dragon Age Dreadwolf. It is available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Elden Ring
Did you like Hogwarts Legacy but did it seem too simple? Then it’s time to level up and try something harder giving a chance to Elden Ring, which for beginners represents the best entry point into the world of FromSoftware. 
Elden Ring is in no uncertain terms a masterpiecesince it retains all the qualities of souls, including superior gameplay and inspired art design, while translating them into a vast open world full of opportunities. You can choose the style of play that best suits you and nothing stops you from playing a powerful wizard who casts sorceries and spells capable of making even Dumbledore himself pale.
