Xiaomi has announced two new lines of low-cost 4K televisions. They are called Xiaomi TV A and Xiaomi TV A Pro respectively and they expand the Xiaomi ecosystem which this year, on the occasion of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, presented the new “Human x Car x Home” strategy, with the objective of redefining the boundaries of technological integration.
The two series position themselves as low-cost smart TVs, thanks to a competitive price and the integration of Google TV as the operating system. So let’s take a look at its features in more detail.
Xiaomi TV A
As mentioned, Xiaomi TV A integrates Google TV for smart functions and is equipped with MEMC motion compensation technology which allows you to obtain smooth and sharp images in 4K UHD. The display is 60 Hz and supports HDR. The design is frameless, equipped with 3 HDMI ports (2 in the 32″ model) and 1 USB 2.0. The series will be available on mi.com in black from Thursday 25 April 2024 in the following formats and prices:
- 43″ 4K at €279.00 bundled with Xiaomi Smart Band 8
- 50″ 4K at €349.00 bundled with Xiaomi Smart Band 8
- 55″ 4K for €399.00
- 65″ 4K at €549.00 bundled with Xiaomi Smart Band 8.
The 32″ Full HD version, however, will be available in the coming weeks for €169.00.
Xiaomi TV A Pro
Xiaomi TV A Pro instead has a QLED 4K HDR display, also in this case with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The input supply consists of 3 HDMI ports and 1 USB 2.0 (2 in the 65 and 75 inch models) and the design of this line is also frameless. Dolby audio technology is also supported, while the operating system is always Google TV, incorporated into the Xiaomi ecosystem remote control. The DCI-P3 color gamut is 90%(min)/92%(Typical) in the 75-inch model, while in the other formats it stands at 92%(min)/94%(Typical).
Xiaomi TV A Pro in black color will be available on mi.com starting from Thursday 25 April 2024, in the following formats and prices:
- 43″ at €299.00 bundled with Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro
- 55″ at €449.00 bundled with Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro
- 65″ at €649.00 bundled with Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro
While starting from April 29th, again on mi.com, the 75” version will also be available for purchase at €869.00.
