Samsung, new update for the Galaxy S24, S23, Fold5, Flip5 and A54 range

A new software update, the second of April, has been released in Europe on the Galaxy S24 range, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy A54.

According to what is reported in the official release notes, this update, in addition to improving the stability and performance of the device, fixes some bugs and update “4G LTE TDD band support”. Security patches remain those relating to the month of April 2024.

Samsung also specifies that anyone who purchased their phone in Germany will not be able to use 4G networks on TDD frequency bands (Time Division Duplex) in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. 4G networks in these markets they mainly use the FDD frequency bands (Frequency Division Duplex).

As regards the Galalxy S24 range, remember, the last update arrived at the end of March. In addition to April’s security patches, the usual bug fixes and general system optimization, an improvement in camera performance has also arrived, mainly focused on white balance and the quality of telephoto shots.

As for the other Galaxy devices, the latest update brought with it One UI 6.1 with most of the Galaxy AI features based on artificial intelligence including Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist (available only in the Samsung Internet application) and Transcript Assist.
