These Android apps contain a dangerous virus: uninstall them immediately!
Descriptive text here

We continue to report the dangerous apps that are appearing on Android and that target bank accounts or personal data. Eset researchers have found another list of potentially malicious applications.

In particular, the campaign in question is known as “eXotic Visit” and contains the XploitSpy malware, which is particularly powerful as it is capable of deeply spying on users’ smartphones, reading the files on them and sending SMS (and therefore activating potential subscription services). Among the other “powers” of this spyware we also find the ability to read the list of calls, contacts, messages and installed apps, but also detect the location of the smartphone, take photos and record audio and intercept notifications from applications messaging.

The applications in question are the following:

  • Sim Info
  • Signal Lite
  • Telco DB
  • Tele Chat
  • Track Budget
  • SnapMe
  • TalkU
  • Zaangi Chat
  • Defcom
  • Wicker Messenger
  • Specialist Hospital
  • Expense Tracker
  • ChitChat
  • WeTalk
  • Dink Messenger
  • Alpha Chat

The advice is to immediately proceed with uninstalling the applications in question, and to rely only on applications from verified developers. In fact, malware often also manages to bypass the Google Play Protect System put in place by the search engine giant, which has the objective of protecting users from attacks of this type.

On Apple AirTags It is one of today’s best sellers.
