According to Japanese insider Midori, Atlus is still planning a remake of Persona 4although it is probably a project that will still take some time to take shape.
Midori himself (or MbKKssTBhz5 on However, it is not clear whether it has precedence or not compared to the alleged remakes of the first two chapters of the series, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and Persona 2: Innocent Sin, recently suggested by the same “deep throat”.
Will Atlus follow Capcom’s Resident Evil model?
We would like to point out that all the information above should be taken with a grain of salt as it is unofficial, although Midori is a source generally considered reliable, or in any case worthy of note, when it comes to Atlus’ internal projects.
If they turn out to be true, then it is possible that the Japanese company is trying to follow aCapcom’s process with the Resident Evil series, thus alternating remakes of the chapters most loved by fans with new games and IPs, such as Metaphor: ReFantazio. We’ll see.
