None of these are new. For example, Mint has also characterized the two Pixel 8s since January and we had already seen it on the Pixel 6a, Porcelain and Bay are also part of the Pixel 8 Pro range, perhaps the formula used to arrive at that color tone changes slightly but the names , round and round, they are those. The definition and overall quality of the renderings is unfortunately not very high, on the contrary, but it is still sufficient to appreciate various aspects.
First of all, the fact that Google had evidently already shown the Pixel 8a by advertising Google Fi Wireless a few days ago. There is no difference between the image published by the Mountain View marketing men and those in the galleries below, in both cases however the small hole near the Camera Bar LED where the microphone is inserted is missing. In short, it is true that these are rumors but there are fewer and fewer doubts that the one below is not a Pixel 8a.
At least on the back. On the opposite surface, today’s renderings offer the same preview that someone had expressed more than a doubt about a few days ago, when an (objectively little-known) source had shown the alleged Pixel 8a in a real-life context. Some emerged more abundant frames than anyone evidently expected, but still almost identical to those of the Pixel 7a. The gist of that release was that from one generation to the next Google had not touched the frames, which were thick on 7a and which remained thick on 8a as well.
In order not to deal with the disappointment, we clung to the fact that the images seemed (and almost certainly were) retouched with some editing software, and that therefore (even if the logical step was and remains unclear) they offered a preview that was not truthful look at the Pixel 8a.
