The boat sank on Friday night due to rough seas with waves of more than three meters, in the waters near the island of Padar, within the area of the Komodo National Park, in the eastern part of the country. «My daughter and granddaughter were thrown out of the boat because they were in a higher part – the words of Fernando Martin’s father-in-law to the Efe agency –. They fell into the sea and were rescued, but my three grandchildren and my son-in-law were probably trapped in the boat, which broke up and sank rapidly.”
