This season’s data shows, for Serie A matches alone, an average of 72,000 present for Milan’s home matches. Is it credible to imagine the new facility with a capacity of at least 70 thousand spectators?
“The project of the stadium in San Donato is calibrated on a capacity of 70,000 spectators. I believe that this hypothesis derives precisely from studies that Milan has carried out to size the stadium, optimizing the intervention as much as possible.”
Why is it so complicated to build plants in Italy? Furthermore, we are one of the few countries that still has two teams living together in the same facility. The London teams have their own stadium, the Madrid and Barcelona teams as well but also Buenos Aires and Belgrade, to name a few.
“I don’t know why it can be complicated to build facilities in Italy, but it is certain that today football teams aim to have their own stadium. San Siro in fact represents an anomaly. The ideal solution would be for Inter to be able to evaluate the project positively of restructuring the San Siro so as not to risk leaving one of the most beautiful stadiums we have in Italy empty.”
