The wait for Wimbledon, the most prestigious tournament in world tennis, is almost over. Tomorrow, Friday 28 June at 11:00 Italian time, the draw that will define the main draw of the tournament will take place.
Jannik Sinner, current world number 1, will be the first seed and comes to the event with great ambitions. The recent victory in the Halle tournament, his first success on grass on the ATP circuit, has strengthened his confidence on this particular surface.

Particular attention is paid to Novak Djokovic, seeded number 2. The Serbian, fresh from an operation on the meniscus of his right knee carried out about twenty days ago, is evaluating his participation in the tournament. Against the expectations of many, Djokovic appeared on the Church Road courts to train and test his physical condition.

The most anticipated event of today will be the joint training between Sinner and Djokovic, scheduled for 3.15pm Italian time. The two champions will face each other in a test set lasting 60 minutes, a crucial test especially for the Serbian to evaluate his form.
In a curious coincidence, tomorrow the matches of the 2023 men’s semi-finals will take place again: in addition to Sinner-Djokovic, also Carlos Alcaraz (world no.3 and reigning champion) and Daniil Medvedev (no.5 ATP) they will train together starting at 2.15pm Italian time.

These training sessions and tomorrow’s draw will mark the official start of the build-up to Wimbledon 2024, an edition that promises to be full of emotions and twists. With Sinner in great shape, Djokovic looking for confirmation on his physical condition, and Alcaraz determined to defend the title, the spectacle on the London lawns is guaranteed.
