And the needs of Inter, who cannot go beyond certain parameters, and those of Inzaghi, who for his part wants to see his status recognized after a dominated championship and the Scudetto won, must be reconciled. Having said that the coach would have preferred a longer deadline, i.e. 2027, and that instead the club wants to proceed gradually, considering 2026 sufficient, the issue that requires more time and new meetings is the purely economic one. The Nerazzurri club cannot go beyond 6.5 million in wages, to be achieved also through some bonuses linked to the objectives and the various steps of the individual competitions. Inzaghi, on the other hand, started at least one step higher, around 7-7.5 million. The dialogue is constant. There is no friction. There is an ongoing negotiation that takes some time. Moreover, over the years the figure of the coach has acquired ever greater centrality, with the consequent increase in wages. Just to give a reference: Allegri had a salary of 9 million net in his last season at Juventus. Inzaghi does not escape this trend.
