Winning debut for Matteo Berrettini at the tournament Halle. The Italian tennis player – currently n.65 in the world in the ATP Ranking – won in two sets (7-6; 6-2) against the young American Alex Michelsen. It was about the 41st victory (out of 50 games) by Berrettini on the grass. A hard-fought match but which saw Berrettini in great form in the decisive moments: MichelsenAlmost frustratedwas the protagonist of a bad gesture during the match, after conceding yet another point.
