Initially many doubted his level on grass but right from the start Carlos Alcaraz proved everyone wrong and showed that he is extremely competitive on this surface where – at just 21 years old – he has already won Wimbledon and Queen’s and has an average of 17 wins and only 2 losses when playing on grass.
In these hours Carlos will face a rather insidious opponent, the British Draper, fresh from the victory over our Berrettini in Stuttgart. There is curiosity to see them at work and understand whether the current number two in the world will have difficulties or not.

These last sentences perhaps refer to the fact that several Top Ten have expressed their dissatisfaction with playing on this surface and not everyone is happy to play on it.
