Vanoli Basket Cremona announces that Federico Zampini will wear the white and blue jersey in the 2024/2025 season.
Born in Perugia on 27 June 1999, Federico is a 191cm point guard/point guard.

Product of the Perugia youth sector, he began his journey away from home, in Moncalieri, in the 2016/2017 season. With the Piedmontese team he won the national under 20 title.

Pallacanestro Roseto invested in him the following season. With Liofilchem ​​he spent an average of 11 minutes on the pitch in 28 league matches producing 2.1 points and 1 rebound.

The following four championships, played with the Kleb Basket Ferrara shirt again in Serie A2, established him among the best prospects in the category. His best season was in 2020/2021 where he averaged 8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2 assists in over 22 minutes on the pitch in the thirty games played.

In 2022/2023 he moved to Cento with whom he reached the quarter-finals in the promotion playoffs of the second national league and where he finished with 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists on average per game.

Last year he had an excellent season in Forlì. With the Romagna team he reached the promotion playoffs and won, as MVP, the LNP Italian Cup. He averaged 9.9 points, as well as 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists, figures that rose and were confirmed, in the seven playoff games, at 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Federico Zampini also boasts experience with national teams, having been part of both the under 18 and under 20 selections at the European category championships.
