Anticipation is growing for the twentieth edition of the Beach Volley Tour Lazio, which for the seventh year will enjoy the support of the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, a partnership which over the years has allowed Fipav Lazio to keep the organizational standards of the event high event
which touched the most beautiful beaches from north to south of the region, achieving great technical and public success on every occasion.

The Beach Volley Tour Lazio will also have the active support of the Lazio Region this year.
They will be five the stages which this year, starting from the weekend of 22 and 23 June, will involve some of the most popular seaside resorts in Lazio.
We start from Terracina, under the historical remains of the temple of Jupiter Anxur, a particularly evocative location, an extraordinary combination of history and sport that will certainly make this first appointment of great impact.
On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June the event will move to Acqua e Sale di Maccarese, a stone’s throw from the capital, in an establishment historically frequented by beachers from all over Rome.
Particularly heartfelt is the third event which on 6 and 7 July will bring the event to the beach of San Felice Circeo. The stage will have strong emotional contours because it is dedicated to Francesco Massucci, historic director of the Italian Institute for Sports Credit, always close to Fipav Lazio in the organization of the Tour Lazio, who passed away prematurely.
Fourth appointment in Latina on 13-14 July, at the Air Force plant, which already hosted the event in 2019.
Grand finale on 20 and 21 July in Montalto di Castro where the decisive challenges for the assignment of regional titles will be played for the first time. They will be the best couples from Lazio, and many who will come from other regions who will fight to include their names in the roll of honor.
In the last edition, staged in 2022, those who climbed to the highest steps of the podium were: in the men’s competition Salvatore Rossini, the champion from Formia, who wrote indelible pages in indoors both with the clubs and the national team, as a pair with Antonio De Paola, in the women’s tournament the Roman Giulia Rocci paired with the German Katja Gless.
SATURDAY 22nd AND SUNDAY 23rd APPOINTMENT IN TERRACINA – 24 MALE AND 17 FEMALE COUPLES
Everything is ready under the suggestive temple of Jupiter Anxur in Terracina for the awaited first stage of the ICS Beach Tour Lazio which will record large numbers in terms of the participation of male and female couples. In the men’s tournament there are as many as 28 registration requests, against the 24 expected and the organizers of Fipav Lazio are deciding whether to grant wild cards to allow everyone to participate. Among the protagonists Cristiano Bruni (29th in the ranking) who will take the field with Matteo Bernardi; Luca Colaberardino (81st) who will play with Davide Borraccini; Edoardo Cacioppi (142nd in the ranking) who will be paired with Simone Bottai. Also expected for the couple made up of Oleksandr Skoreiko and Alessio Fornaro.
The women’s draw is particularly qualified, made up of 17 couples, which will see top-level beachers and couples compete. Among those registered, although not together, Giulia Toti (69th in the ranking) and Jessica Allegretti (67th in the ranking), Italian champions in pairs, in 2019 and 2021, who will take the field respectively with Alice Pratesi and Jessica Jenifer Luca ; Giulia Rocci and Katja Gless will defend the title won last edition. Also awaited is the performance of Luna Cicola, daughter of Fosco, a great interpreter of both indoor and beach volleyball, who after three seasons in the women’s A1 with Bergamo has just signed a contract that will tie her to Roma with whom she will return to wear the team’s shirt of his city. Before returning to the gym, Luna dedicated herself to beach volleyball with excellent results. In Terracina she will be paired with Courtney Schwan, the American spiker from Roma who also has excellent skills on the sand. They will have the public to support them Giulia Sciscione, who this year came close to promotion in the ranks of Futura Terracina and Francesca Furlanetto, in the latter in Priverno but with two seasons in Futura behind her.
