It ended with an exciting mini-tournament of Beach volleyheld at the outdoor sports center of San Lazzaro areathe joint training program between a representative group of female studentsUniversity of Amsterdam and the first teamImperia Volleyball.
The students, coming from various continents including America, Asia and Europe, they spent four intense days dedicated not only to sporting activities but also to discovering the city of Imperia and its traditions.
During their stay, the guests had the opportunity to admire the most characteristic corners of Imperia and to savor the specialties of Ligurian cuisine, making this experience memorable even outside the playing field.
For the girls ofImperia Volleyball instead, the event was a unique opportunity to engage with different cultures and improve one’s language skills, especially for those who study at language-oriented institutes.
The success of this initiative, completely new for L‘Imperia Volleyball, was made possible thanks to the contribution of various people and organizations. A special thank you from the ad company Aliceformer player ofImperia Volleyball and currently a student at the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam, who facilitated the organization of the event.
The Municipality of Imperia, represented by the Sports Councilor Marcella Roggerohas made available the Sports Hall and the “Maggi” gym.
Also significant was the support of the companies Autofficina F.lli Basso, Il Piacere di… hair designer and ICOEL Impianti, which offered financial support to cover logistics costs and provide gadgets to the participants.
L’Imperia Volleyballsatisfied with the result, hopes that this is only the first of many similar initiatives in the future, training both on a sporting and human level.
