Long interview released by Calvin Stengs in the Feyenoord podcast called The Sound of, published on Feyenoord ONE. The Dutch attacking midfielder looked back over the entire season that has just ended, focusing above all on it about its future. Right there Lazio has long been very interested in his profile, in particular after the sales of Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson. These are the words of the red and white striker: “I didn’t return to Holland for anything. I still have a three-year contract, I’m having a lot of fun. I’m also happy to be close to my family again, I really feel at home here. A new move away from the Netherlands? Now I’m also a father, I like it when my mother and father can see my son. However, if I’m further away it’s a little more difficult. Of course, if something interesting comes along, never say never. I could take a step forward.”
“The best match of the season? Definitely Feyenoord – Lazio, especially with how we played during the Champions League group. They were actually under pressure throughout the match and we even beat them. For us that was a sort of proof that we can also play at a high level. We proved it in the Champions League, but we also showed that we give in too easily.”
