The Californian fund Oaktreenew owner ofInterpresents itself in Milan with good economic and strategic intentions: by the managerial continuity sealed with the election of Beppe Marotta as president, to the investment of “around 50 million (with a minimum share passed by its Luxembourg holdings) in the bonds issued by Inter Media and Communication” as Calcio e Finanza informs us which, regarding the bond issued by Inter Media and Communication, reminds the other relevant names of institutional investors.

Among these also appear those of funds such as “Blackrock And UBSbut most of all Pimco (with shares of 4 million euros held only by its own funds with offices in Luxembourg and another 14 million in total, according to official documents) which in recent months had been indicated as the last option for Zhang to keep the Nerazzurri club, in a negotiation for a loan which however never came to fruition”. Other names are those of Arcano Partners, T. Rowe Price (about 10 million), Eaton Vance, Six Circles Trust And Lord Abbett (around 17 million) among those who subscribed to a share of the Inter bond”.

The bond in question was issued in February 2022 by the current president Zhangsecond under ownership Suning (after that of 2017 from 300 million, a necessary consequence of the debt inherited from Thohir) and “currently in charge of the Nerazzurri club, since 415 million expiring in February 2027, also guaranteed by Inter Media and Communication. A topic which, according to what has been learned from financial sources – we read -, for Oaktree it wouldn’t be something to worry about in the immediate future, considering the deadline.”

Deadlines until 2027:

1 installment of 3.57 million euros on 30 June 2024;
1 installment of 3.69 million on 30 December 2024;
1 installment of 3.82 million on 30 June 2025;
1 installment of 3.95 million on 30 December 2025;
1 installment of 4.08 million on 30 June 2026;
1 installment of 4.22 million on 30 December 2026;
1 final installment for 391.67 million by 9 February 2027.
