The San Vendemiano Cycling Two Days which opened on Friday with the night track which had offered the 13th Grafica 78 Trophy as a prize ended today with a day of competitions reserved for beginners and students. Today was the turn of the Students, competing for the 32nd Giro dei Colli – 2nd GB Imballaggi Trophy and of the Rookies who competed for the 13th Mario Maschietto Eredi Trophy, with the wise organizational direction of the staff of the Velo Club San Vendemiano of the President Matteo Ottavian .
DOUBLE VENDRAMIN AMONG THE STUDENTS – The 32nd Giro dei Colli saw 101 students at the start this morning who battled along the challenging hilly circuit. About twenty athletes remained to make up the group of the best who went all out in the sprint. The one who prevailed was Jacopo Vendramin (Industrial Forniture Moro) who clearly preceded the Paduan Lorenzo Ceccarello (Monselice) and the former black-green Nicola Padovan (Gottardo Giochi Caneva). For Vendramin this is an important encore on the streets of San Vendemiano after Friday evening he won the night test reserved for students valid for the 13th Grafica 78 Trophy.
NEWBORNS, TWO SPRINTS – Two compact sprints also decided the two races valid for the 13th Mario Maschietto Eredi Trophy: Justin Mamaliga (Ottavio Zuliani) and Rafael Camara (Sprint Vidor) rejoiced.
“It is always a great satisfaction to see so many young people busy on our roads. This year too the Due Giorni was fully successful and brought the public to San Vendemiano for special occasions.
