The Management Committee of the Union Cycliste Internationale met from 10 to 12 June in Aigle, Switzerland. During his meeting, in addition to the decisions announced on Wednesday regarding safety in men’s and women’s road races, has approved different calendars and made decisions related to road cycling and the overall development of cycling.

The UCI Women’s WorldTour and UCI WorldTour 2025 calendars have been approved, following their validation by the Professional Cycling Council at its meeting on 29 May.

In 2025, the UCI Women’s WorldTour, the flagship series in women’s professional road cycling, will include 29 events in twelve countries and three continents, across 84 days of racing. The competitions will start in Australia from 17 to 19 January with the Santos Tour Down Under and will continue until 19 October, with the Tour of Guangxi in China. A new race is added to the calendar: the Copenhagen Race (21 June).

As regards the Men Elite races, The UCI WorldTour, the most prestigious series in men’s professional road cycling, will include 36 events in thirteen countries and four continents for a total of 171 days of racing next year. LThe competitions kick off in Australia from 21st to 26th January with the Santos Tour Down Under and continue until 19th October, with the conclusion of the Gree – Tour of Guangxi in China. The first edition of the Copenhagen Race (22 June) will also be present in the UCI WorldTour calendar.

The UCI Management Committee also approved the 2025 UCI E-Mountain Bike Cross-country World Cup calendar.

Furthermore, the UCI has awarded the following UCI World Championships:

UCI Pump Track World Championships 2024: Durban (South Africa), 8-9 November 2024;
UCI Snow Bike World Championships 2025: Châtel (France), 8-9 February 2025;
UCI Gran Fondo World Championships 2026: Niseko (Japan), 26-30 August 2026.

Finally, they were fixed new dates for the following UCI World Championships that had already been assigned:

2024 UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships in Hamburg (Germany): 6-8 December (previous dates: 29 November -1 December);
UCI BMX Racing World Championships 2025 in Copenhagen (Denmark): 28 July – 3 August (previous dates: 22-27 July).
