We have reached the quarter finals ofATP 250 in Stuttgart, a prestigious tournament organized by sponsor BOSS which opens the grass season together with its cousin tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. In Germany there are two Italians left on Friday: one of these is Matteo Berrettini facing James Duckworth.

Berrettini who has a special feeling with the grass and with this tournament: just think that out of eight titles, four came on the lawns, two at Queen’s and two in Stuttgart. This year he managed to return with a bang after two months of inactivity, winning a great match on his debut against Safiullin and dealing with Shapovalov without any particular problems.
For Duckworth it will be the fifth match in the tournament: the Australian started from the qualifiers by overcoming Sultanov and Molleker and in the main draw he eliminated Herbert and above all Ben Shelton in three sets yesterday in the round of 16, one of the most important successes of his career. There are no official precedents with Berrettini.
