Stefano Sordo will be the new performance director for Audi, after a long experience in F1 which also saw him in Red Bull.
Audi continues to strengthen itself for the arrival in F1, signed by former Red Bull Stefano Sordo. The Italian engineer will be Performance Director for the German team, working in close collaboration with the Technical Director James Key. After a very long experience in the world of racing, which also saw him responsible for aerodynamics at Milton KeynesStefano Sordo will therefore return to the Circus.
The signing of Stefano Sordo underlines Audi’s desire to start off on the right foot in Formula 1. The Italian engineer has boundless experience in racing. He worked in Arrows, Jaguar, Red Bull And Red Bullbefore closing his first part of his career in the Circus with McLaren. After two years of working in the United States with RLL Racingwill officially return to the top open-wheel series.
