MESSINA – The announcement took place today. Gigi D’Alessio will perform in concert at the Capo Peloro arena, former Sea Flight, on August 31st. This is a fifth Sicilian stop for the Neapolitan singer and the presale has started on the website Full stop. on the usual circuits and points of sale.
The event, within the tour produced by Ggd and Friends & Partners in collaboration with Sicily by Caris organized by Full stop (artistic direction by Nuccio La Ferlita) in collaboration with Municipality of Messinawith the mayor Federico Basile and the department of entertainment and major city events.
The announcement of the artist’s new show was made official today on the day of the presentation of the program of summer events promoted by the municipal administration of Messina for the summer of 2024. “The summer program which it is no coincidence that we have called ‘E-state a Messina unseadivertimento’ is enriched with a new event which will see Gigi D’Alessio performing in the splendid setting of Capo Peloro. We are pleased – declare the mayor and councilor – to offer citizens and tourists in the city the opportunity to get involved in the emotions that the singer-songwriter and ambassador of Neapolitan music manages to convey with his melodies and his lyrics to experience an evening of of fun and aggregation”.

In the new live shows, the artist celebrates 30 years of successes: from historical songs such as “Non morrare mai”, “Il viaggio dell’età”, “Mon amour”, “Quanti amori”, “Como suena el corazon”, “Non tell him never”, up to the most recent ones such as “La prima stella” and “Benvenuto amore”, “Noi due”, “L’ammore”, “Come me”, ” Quando a vita se ne va”, and many others .
On stage he is accompanied by Alfredo Golino (drums), Robert D’Aquino (Bass), Goofy Breast (guitars), Ciro Manna (guitars), Checco D’Alessio (keyboards), Lorenzo Maffia (piano and keyboards) e Max D’Ambra (keyboards and programming).
The new album and the stops in Palermo and Catania
Gigi D’Alessio has just published the new album “Fra”, (Ggd Edizioni Srl/Sony Music): 10 songs ranging from new songs to hits with unreleased collaborations. And there are 8 special events of “Gigi someone like you. The emotion continues” scheduled in Naples, in Piazza del Plebiscito until June 16th. Then a double date 5 and 6 July at the Paolo Borsellino Velodrome in Palermo for the Dream Pop Fest event. And immediately after Catania with the two concerts scheduled at the Villa Bellini on 11 and 12 August within the “Sotto il Vulcano Fest” exhibition, promoted as part of the Etna administration programme Catania Summer Fest 2024.
