“Talking about it still won’t help the situation,” Verstappen said. “I would prefer there weren’t all these stories, certain things happen within teams. Must go on”.
He doesn’t have the slightest doubt about his future: “I have a contract with the team (until 2028) to provide certain performances. I’m a loyal person, It would be fantastic to finish at Red Bull and spend your entire career with one team“.
A message that certainly did not please Toto Wolff. But then Verstappen closes with the hottest topic, the difficult relationship between his father Jos and Horner.
“My father will always be by my side, he and Horner are not in conflict. It happens that people have different opinions. Christian it was decisive for my move to Red Bull“.
