Sportpertutti Fest 2024: whirlwind of events between Rimini and Riccione
Between June and July the Romagna Riviera will welcome the 30,000 participants in the Uisp national finals of artistic gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, basketball and football
The people of sportpertutti will color the Romagna Riviera between June and July: there will in fact be 32,500 participants in the “Sportpertutti Fest 2024” for a whirlwind of events and workshops on the occasion of some of the major finals and national events of the Uisp Championships, with artistic gymnastics, swimming , volleyball, basketball, football.
A record number of participants which testifies to the positive impact of sportforall on tourism and the local economy, in the name of health, sustainable development and the social value of sport. Thousands of people, especially young people, will come from all over Italy to the welcoming towns of Rimini, Riccione and other cities of the Riviera, and will base themselves at the Uisp Village of the “Sportpertutti Fest 2024” which will be built near Operà, via Goethe 46, located in the Marano area, the border area between Rimini and Riccione. Competitions and meetings will also take place 18 gyms for basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, around 20 football pitchesor, located between Rimini and Riccione and playgrounds for skating and outdoor activities.
Here are some of the scheduled events: we start at Cesenatico with the start of the national men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics championships which will continue until Thursday 13 June. From Friday 14 June they enter the scene basketball and swimming. On Friday 14 June the teams will be accredited for the Uisp women’s national basketball finals in Rimini starting from 3pm and in Riccione for the national swimming finals with the start of the competitions which will continue throughout the weekend. On Sunday 16 June in Rimini, at the end of the matches, the awards ceremony for the Basketball Finals will be held.
From Thursday 20 June spotlight on volleyball, with the Adult Review and in the afternoon reception and accreditation of the Adult Volleyball Finals. In the evening a party with dinner is planned at the Frontemare. Friday 21 June continues with the Adult Volleyball Festival and Uisp football will enter the scene, with the finals to be held in various fields in Rimini from morning to evening.
The final phase of the competition is scheduled for Saturday 22 June Goal 5 project, which takes inspiration from the art. 5 of the 2030 Agenda, against violence against women and rights for gender equality. They will take the field four mixed teams, made up of men and women, who will create a quadrangular. The Volleyball Finals and the final awards ceremony will be held on Sunday 23 June in Rimini.
A new volleyball weekend opens on Thursday 4 July with the Junior Volleyball Review and an evening-event organized together with the participants of the Festival of the Sun (30 June-5 July), the largest free gymnastics event held in our country. The program will also be repeated on Friday 5 July, in conjunction with the Pink Night. The Volleyball Finals will continue on Saturday 6 July and an event is planned with the presentation of the Monitora project, organized by the national Uisp, new actions against discrimination to promote good practices for inclusive sport. To complete the program, The final part will be held on Sunday 7 July in Rimini of the Junior Volleyball Festival, with awards and closing party.
