Finally a turning point. “Inter, here’s the money: Zhang-Pimco and the 430 million euro yes”this is the title of La Gazzetta dello Sport dedicated to the Nerazzurri and yet another corporate turning point: in the next few days, in fact, there will be the refinancing of the debt thanks to the intervention of a new fund. “Signatures on Wednesday, announcement on Friday. Here we are: Inter will soon finally be able to enter the operational phase with contract renewals and with the market – continues the rosy -, because the endless negotiation for the refinancing of the loan will see the light. In the middle of the week, subject to slippages which can never be ruled out in complex contracts like these, the agreement with the US fund Pimco will be finalized, which will guarantee Steven Zhang – and therefore Inter – a figure around to 430 million euros in the form of financing, for a three-year duration”.
The target
In this way the company will be able to cope with the approximately 375 million euros to be paid into Oaktree’s coffers, avoiding the assignment as a pledge. Once the agreement is signed, a new scenario will open up in which the Nerazzurri will be able to plan the future: many renewals, but above all the main objective, that of remaining competitive after winning their twentieth championship.
