We will give everything to give satisfaction to our fans, aware of having played an extraordinary championship”, said the Tuscan coach in today’s interview with Corriere dello Sport. Pistoia went 0-2 with Brescia this season. “We face a team that was also ahead of Milan and Bologna during the season. A group of enormous quality, with high-level individuality. We will do our best. Interchangeability, the result of a valuable bench. Even if the entire quintet rotates, they conserve energy, sprint, consistency of performance for 40 minutes: it’s a particular aspect”.
Brienza also talked about what changed after the arrival of American ownership. “Until now we were used to working in a certain way, regardless of the mentality, difficulties and budgets to keep in mind. He has entered a positive context which requires us to work hard to keep it that way.”
