More than 200 people attended the sporting event last night, May 4th, which took place in the premises of the summer headquarters of the Pro Loco of Callabiana.
The absolute protagonists are the icons of cycling, Gianni Bugno and Wladimir Belli, who literally conquered the audience in the room. The former was world road champion in 1991 and 1992; the second one of the great protagonists of the Giro d’Italia between the 90s and the following decade.
The sports commentators Riccardo Magrini and Luca Gregorio were also present at the event. The organizational staff expressed thanks to the “Municipality, ACI Biella, Associazione Amici Presepi Callabiana and Gabriele Martinazzo for the help provided on this occasion”.
Meanwhile, the anticipation is growing in the hamlets, with the town dressed up for the holidays, with the placing of pink signs and banners to better welcome the arrival of the Giro d’Italia. For Callabiana, in fact, it is a historic moment since, for the first time, the pink caravan will stop in the small center of Biella.
