Inzaghi to Behrami: “I heard you challenging us…”
The former Swiss midfielder is now a commentator on Dazn and the Inter coach spoke to him again: “I heard you several times, Behrami, questioning our path in the Champions League. Maybe you were expecting another final or for us to win the Champions League. But it’s not easy, there are strong opponents. We are certainly disappointed with how it went with Atletico, because we could have directed the episodes better in our favor. Three years ago, Inter hadn’t reached the Champions League round of 16 for 10 years. But surely the elimination against Atletico Madrid is still here because we could have done it. But there are also adversaries.”

Inzaghi then concluded: “We made the round of 16 twice and the Champions League final once. We want to improve ourselves because we don’t want to look back but we know that we also have parameters to respect. And in the last 3 years we have done it with the resources we had. I am lucky to have good and capable managers, what we have done in 3 years could not be foreseen. We did a great job.”
