Exciting trip on Saturday 27 April 2024 to Parma for the boys of Saronno Rugby, guests of Zebre Rugby as “club of the day”, for the match against the Glasgow Warriors team.
Saronno rugby hosts Zebre di Parma
The Zebre di Parma are the only Italian team to compete, together with Benetton Treviso, in the prestigious international United Rugby Championship.
More than 110 athletes and accompanying families were the protagonists of a special day at the Cittadella del Rugby in Parma. The Saronno Rugby athletes were, in fact, able to visit the changing rooms, accompany the players as they entered the field and participate in various recreational and educational activities organized by the “Together towards the goal” Association.

The Zebre Rugby project
This initiative was made possible by Zebre Family, the Zebre Rugby project dedicated to supporting clubs which today sees more than 150 grassroots clubs affiliated, including Saronno Rugby.
“It was a wonderful family celebration and seeing the Lanfranchi stadium colored with Saronno Rugby shirts was truly exciting. We thank the Zebre for the warm hospitality and for the support that together with their champions continue to give to our senzacampononcisto campaign to ask the institutions for a suitable space where they can create an approved field for the practice of rugby in Saronno”, commented Raffaele Monteleone , President of the Saronno Rugby ASD Sports Union.
