MotoGP 24 – Review, new year, new race
Descriptive text here

New year, new simulator on two wheels, intent on hitting the gas and wiping out – as well as the records – every experience of the previous year. Milestones in fact, with this latest iteration it has been able to manage some of the key points of its production well, favoring dynamism in favor of an improved graphic sector. MotoGP 24 it therefore aims to reshape what we have seen, attempting to cross the finish line in first position.

Back on track

In the most genuine sense of the term, modality Career which will see us protagonists within MotoGP 24 it does not present substantial innovations compared to the past. This is not necessarily a bad thing, given the way in which this modality has remained compelling and functional over the years, always encouraging us to do better and make a real difference. climbing towards the top of the MotoGP.

It is important to underline how, again in the Career, the transfer market will allow the player and others to move to a new team, a feature already seen in titles dedicated to Formula 1 but definitely a welcome novelty even in a game dedicated to two wheels.

In addition to the Career mode, which will prove to be the heart of the experience for the first few hours of the game, MotoGP 24 offers a good amount of content: in fact we find methods such as Grand Prixobviously without leaving aside the ChampionshipThe Time Trialthe tutorials and the MotoGP Academy. There is also an online mode that opens the doors to a new year of events LiveGPalongside the Live GP Championshipa ranked championship that takes place on weekdays and weekends.

There are also some new features and improvements that make the gameplay even more enjoyable, especially for beginners, such as the adaptive difficulty That calibrate the level of your opponents in relation to the performances of the players during the matches. But not only that, given that MotoGP 24 will give us the opportunity to exploit the rider market, both from the users and from the CPU, in addition to having also introduced Stewards who will observe each race and assign penalties if necessary . Penalties which will then be served during the raceThis is what happens in reality too. The player must therefore be particularly careful not to commit infringements.

As mentioned above, Milestone wanted to give space to one new form of artificial intelligenceintroducing an adaptive difficulty system that best follows the driver, calibrating itself according to his skill and skill on the track. MotoGP 23 offered a more difficult driving system and an AI that did not adapt much to the situation, while in this 2024 edition things seem to have been filed in the right way.

In other words, AI is based precisely on our capabilities: for example, if during a certain race we are able to gain very fast lap times, our opponents will also do everything they can to increase their times, putting their all into it.

The driving model also works better this time than in the past, given that in MotoGP 24 we manage to feel our vehicle more clearly, with the “feedback” of the bike capable of making us better perceive in which direction we are moving, curve after curve, braking after braking. The behavior of the bike is perhaps a little less simulative and realistic than we remembered it in MotoGP 23but that’s not necessarily a bad thing since what benefits is the fun pure and simple.

Especially in Moto3, the medium seems to be more stable with significantly more attentive driving: the car will always go where we want it to go, managing to perceive a big difference in handling compared to the previous MotoGP 23.

Fans will be able to pull a sigh of relief also from a technical point of viewgiven that MotoGP 24 manages to mix a realistic rendering with a more than good technical sector: the graphics engine carries out its task, just as the sound sector is also completely successful, with a reproduction of sound effects, punctual and in line with what we will see on the screen.

The passion for two wheels

MotoGP 24 also has online mode on its side and, to the great joy of those who love to challenge themselves in person, the split screengiven that it will be possible to compete with a friend locally with shared screen, New LiveGP events, supported by the LiveGP Championship (i.e. a ranked championship) allow the player to take part in 10 challenges per monthcollecting points and thus moving up in the rankings.

Last but not least the customization of our vehicle, complete with stickers, helmets and other goodies that will allow us to make our motorbike even more beautiful (as well as performing). We’ll see what the game offers in the coming months, seeing as that the appeal is still missing some methods which will only be released later.

In short, apart from a few slight flaws, MotoGP 24 is the motorbike simulator we hoped to find in our hands, thanks to a less complex but significantly more satisfying driving system. The introduction of the adaptive difficulty, which seems to really follow our skills, is a small surprise, giving us the opportunity to enjoy what is currently the best title dedicated to two wheels available on the market.
