The Nerazzurri CEO continues to study the most convenient methods to strengthen the team.
The great celebration last Sunday, which saw Inter celebrate its twentieth Scudetto and its second star together with a human tide of Nerazzurri fans who invaded Milan, has not yet been archived and will likely continue until the end of the season official and during the next four Championship matches.
The Nerazzurri management, however, is already thinking and planning the future to try to make the team even stronger and more competitive next season. The objective is to confirm themselves in the championship and return to being protagonists in the Champions Leagueas well as that of best honoring the Club World Cup which will take place between June and July 2025.
Marotta and Ausilio have already taken action for some time, closing, for months now, the purchases of Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi who will arrive on free transfers in July, at the end of their relationship with Naples and Porto. The other hot topics on the desk of the two Nerazzurri managers are the contracts of Lautaro Martinez and Simone Inzaghi which will have to be renewed.
Then, you can think about thinning out the roster and operating in the outgoing market, also to obtain some necessary and indispensable capital gains for the budget. In the meantime, Alexis Sanchez, Juan Cuadrado, Stefano Sensi and Davy Klaassen are already with suitcases in hand who will not renew their expiring contract. Furthermore, the prime suspect in the sale to raise cash appears to be Denzel Dumfries.
Transfer market, Inter’s plans for the summer
These are Inter’s most important plans on the transfer market, net of some other transfers of some young players who are currently on loan and who could prove to be important resources for the club. The incoming market, however, does not seem to be closed to just Zielinski and Taremi. Some other operations will be carried out, perhaps even giving a dream shot to the fans.
We will need a central defender, perhaps two and, especially if Dumfries leaves, also a full-back right winger. Then we will need to understand the situation of the attack, perhaps the only weak point, at least in the alternatives to the Thuram-Lautaro Martinez duo, this season. Taremi will arrive in place of Alexis Sanchez, while Joaquin Correa should return from his loan at Marseille, unless the French win the Europa League and qualify for the next Champions League.
Inter attack, the dream is Joshua Zirkzee
With Arnautovic who should be given another chance and therefore close to staying, there’s a big dream called, Joshua Zirkzee. The Bologna striker, a great protagonist of this Serie A season, is also very popular with Milan, Naples and other European clubs and in recent months his rating has increased dramatically.
At the moment, in fact, perhaps not even 60 million euros is enough. Inter cannot afford to invest this sum, but the Fabbian card can be played with Bologna.
