After winning the sixth championship of his coaching career, leading Imoco Volley Conegliano, Daniele Santarelli is looking for new challenges in volleyball and beyond.
In fact, the coach is a great football fan and an AC Milan fanand, interviewed at Radio Serie A he expressed himself thus on the possibility of opening up to the world of football: “Pegs? As a coach like him, I empathize. He gave his all for Milan, but I think that after 5 years it is right to change for both of us.”
Then he added: “I was asked if I would like to try my hand at football in the future and I thought: “Why not?”, who knows if I could be capable and make my contribution. You never know.”
Santarelli therefore remains open to new possible scenarios even in sports other than volleyball, meanwhile the coach has said he is ready to make the switch: first the Champions League final with his Conegliano against Milan, then the international season, leading Turkey with a single objective, that of trying to get a medal – perhaps gold – at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
